A kind of trailer for Stand Up or Die Trying!

31 Mar

This is a video myself and the director of Stand Up or Die Trying Jessie Kirby did to promote the not necessarily real online video tutorial website belinda.com.

A very general and long overdue update.

20 Nov

Hey there peoples. It’s been far too long since I’ve posted on this blog. I do have a long, first year in comedy blog planned, which should be up soon enough. I’ve stopped posting live dates up as blog posts as generally what leads people to the site is another site which already will have a date posted! I fully intend to post blogs more regularly and not just show dates and all that, but just general ramblings. I’ve stopped the Post Mortems for every gig because to be honest, there’d be too many. Over the last year I’ve done 63 gigs, and they’d only get repetitive and ruin the narrative of the documentary.

If you do want to see me perform, your best bet is to head down to Rebels Comedy Club on a Friday night where I usually do a spot, sometimes even headline! Back in June Ann Marie and Catherine were kind enough to ask me if I wanted to come on board and run Rebels with them and I was absolutely delighted to come on board as Rebels is really one of the nicest venues to play in the country and Ann Marie and Catherine are two of the nicest people I’ve met.

Also on Thursdays I’m part of the Underground Comedy Players who do stand-up and improv every Thursday in City Limits as part of Underground Comedy, which has just started, every Thursday at 9pm, which is a fun, relaxed night, where anything goes. So try and come along to either of those. For any other gigs keep and eye on Twitter and my See Sean Live page.

So that’s all for now, I’ll be updating soon!

London this week!

8 Sep

Hey folks! I’m in London for two gigs this week.

First up on Tuesday I’m doing a spot at Comedy Virgins in The Cavendish Arms, 128 Hartington Road,  Stockwell at 7:30pm  and then on Wednesday I’m doing a spot at the Comedy Cafe, 62-68 Rivington Street, Shoreditch, London at 8pm  . Hope to see you there, I’ll be honest, I really am expecting people to travel from Ireland for the gig so I’ll be especially disappointed if ye don’t show up!

Can’t wait!

Edinburgh! August 14th – The Full Irish!

5 Aug

So I’m over in Edinburgh for the week next week and the one place you’re sure to see me is at The Full Irish, in Finnegan’s Wake, 9B Victoria Street, Edinburgh at 6pm! ’tis free in and the absolutely brilliant Christian Talbot and Greg Marks are the stars of the show for the week, so even if you can’t make it to the show I’m doing my spot in, make sure you check it out at some stage! It’s a chance to see some of the best Irish comics around at the moment.

Bankers – August 18th

5 Aug

I’ll be doing a spot at The Bankers, Trinity Street, Dublin on August 18th. I’ll be fresh back from Edinburgh so it’ll be nice to be back on home soil!

Doors are a 9:00pm, tickets €10. There’s a fantastic line-up so it’s going to be a good one! See ya there!

Ned Keenan’s Comedy Club – August 10th

2 Aug

I’ll be doing a spot in Ned Keenan’s Comedy Club at The Maple Hotel, 74-75 Lwr Gardiner Street in Dublin on August 10th. I’ll be off to Edinburgh two days later so it’s the last chance to see me before I become a massive, household name. Watch me become a national treasure before your very eyes!

So I’ll see you there at 9:00pm. We might even chat afterwards, where I’ll try to get across how important it is to be humble.
